Survival Of Percentages

Charity/Not for Profit Organisations

POTENTIAL CHALLENGE

Raise awareness of a charity and problems in the environment.

SOLUTION

Focus on well known brands and "borrow" their webpage by covering part of it with the issues they are keen to promote.

SUMMARY

When a website is loaded a percentage of the screen is covered with an advert for the charity. The percentage of the screen covered depends on the stats that are being promoted. For example if it says 25% of the Earth's species will already be extinct by the middle of the 21st century then 25% of the screen will be covered. They can then click on it to the microsite to learn more. To make a donation visitors can do this on the microsite and visitors can share on social networks to spread interest. There is also information that links to a list of global issues enabling everyone who owns a website to select whatever charity they want to support and add the same advertisement corner on their websites. This means people can support the organization by adding a corner with a percentage to their website and be mentioned by the organisation that 'this' brand supports us.
